Mortal Kombat X Gameplay Trailer
After announcing the reprise back in the summer, here video game audiences are treated to a new peek at the gameplay from Mortal Combat X. Releasing across PlayStation and Xbox platforms, the game finds fan-favorite characters such as Princess Kitana and Kung Lao returning to the ring, executing penchant fighting styles and combinations in glorious high-definition. The above clip introduces the aforementioned characters, as well as offers interested parties a chance to unlock champion fighter Goro if they pre-order the game. PHARRELL RELEASES NEW “SOCIAL BOOK”
Pharrell introduces his new “social book” entitled Inspiration. The concept sees the release of Inspiration online, but with a major portion of its text erased – thus leaving the user to fill in the blanks. A point system has been attached to the collaborative guessing game while there are also a bevy of hints to help folks along. Head on over to tippex-socialbook.com to check out the project – the first person to guess any individual missing word will be credited in the physical edition of the book upon its release. Proceeds from the eventual sale of the book will go to benefit various learning programs for underprivileged children. By July 1, a free digital version will also be available for you to download.

Apple unveils iOS7 - out this Fall
Today, Apple announced a new Operating System - iOS7 due out this Fall. Here are a few key updates:
The Control Center:
Control Center gives you quick access to the controls and apps you always seem to need right this second. Just swipe up from any screen — including the Lock screen — to do things like switch to Airplane mode, turn Wi-Fi on or off, or adjust the brightness of your display. You can even shine a light on things with a new flashlight. Never has one swipe given you so much control.
The Notification Center:
Notification Center lets you know about new mail, missed calls, to-dos that need doing, and more. And a new feature called Today gives you a convenient summary of, well, today. One glance at your iPhone and you’ll know if it’s a certain someone’s birthday, if you’ll need an umbrella, or if traffic will slow down your commute. You’ll even get a heads-up on tomorrow. You can access Notification Center from any screen, including the Lock screen. Just swipe down. And get up to speed.
The Camera:
Camera in iOS 7 puts all your shooting formats — still, video, panorama, and now square — front and center. With a swipe, you can capture what you want the way you want. Fast. And new filters let you do even more with each image. Give it a retro feel. Dial up the contrast.
Or go black and white. Artistic license is all yours.
Filters on Camera:
You can apply filters to still and square photos. Pick a filter and see the effect before you take the picture. Or just take the shot and apply it later. If you ever change your mind and decide no filter is the best filter, you can simply remove it.
AirDrop:
Sending a photo or a document to someone via text or email is fine. But if that someone is right next to you, a text or an email suddenly feels like too many steps. Enter AirDrop for iOS. It lets you quickly and easily share photos, videos, contacts — and anything else from any app with a Share button. Just tap Share, then select the person you want to share with. AirDrop does the rest using Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. No setup required. And transfers are encrypted, so what you share is highly secure.
iTunes Radio:
iTunes Radio features streaming radio stations you’ll love from day one — from the best selection of music. The more you listen, the more personalized it becomes. And it’s available on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, PC, and Apple TV for free. It’s radio re-imagined.
The iOS 7 beta software and SDK are available immediately for iOS Developer Program members at developer.apple.com. iOS 7 will be available as a free software update for iPhone 4 and later, iPad 2 and later, iPad mini and iPod touch (fifth generation) this fall.

Japanese designer Yohji Yamamoto made his first visit to Germany to present his collection at the Audi presents ” Cutting Age: Yohji Yamamoto” runway show at the St. Agnes Church in Berlin. Zaha Hadid’s Luxury Z Speedboat by Shoreteam
London-based, Baghdad-born architect Zaha Hadid has teamed up with France-based Shoreteam to create the Luxury Z for London-based writer and art dealer Kenny Schachter. Commissioned by Schachter for his Rove Projects, the unique speedboat measures around eight meters in length and is meant to be an artistic expression of individualism with a stealthy asymmetrical design courtesy of fiberglass and carbon fiber construction. Limited to only 12 production models, the Luxury Z is set to go on sale sometime in early 2013 with a retail price around €375,000 EUR (approximately $460,459 USD).

PES 2013 Official Game Trailer
Once the king of the hill for soccer games, Konami‘s PES/Winning 11 has seen stiff competition in the last few years at the hands of EA Sports’ FIFA franchise. Looking to once again establish itself as the top dog, a trailer emerges for PES 2013. Combining fluid gameplay with precision controls, the trailer provides some strong visuals. Marquee players are presented in fine form including arguably soccer’s most disliked maestro – Barton aside – Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Real Madrid pair Cristiano Ronaldo and Kaka, wonderkid Neymar and Atletico Mineiro’s latest signing, Ronaldinho. Despite the realism of the game, FIFA 13 may have trumped PES with its new in-game feature which allows voice commands to be used to argue ref calls.
